An update and FREE lesson materials
It’s been a while since I last communicated with you all, but I am back. This newsletter has free IB MYP units, a podcast with Alexis Wiggins and an update from me.
Newsletter Format
I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to update you all on some exciting news. Firstly, I will now be writing my newsletter on Substack. I believe this platform will allow me to better connect with my readers and provide a more streamlined experience. Addiontally, I will be collating some of the latest stories from around the world about inquiry-based learning.
You can find my latest posts here: inquiryteacher.substack.com
I apologize for the recent reduction in communication. I have been quite busy with some exciting new ventures. Firstly, I am proud to announce that I have become a certified global IB workshop leader. I am thrilled to be able to share my expertise with other educators from around the world.
In addition, I am currently working on completing my master's thesis on the difficulties teachers face when implementing inquiry-based learning. It has been a challenging but rewarding experience, and I am eager to share my findings with you all once it's complete.
Lastly, I wanted to let you know that my podcast is still going strong. I have recently introduced fortnightly episodes, called Sips & Tips. These bite-sized pods are perfect for consuming during your coffee break. I have also continued to interview specialists, and my latest episode features Alexis Wiggins, the creator of the fantastic spiderweb discussion. If you want to listen to more of the podcasts, simply search ‘The Inquiry Teacher’ on your favourite podcast player or head on over to my website.
Thank you all for your continued support. I am excited about this new chapter and look forward to sharing more with you all soon.
Best regards,
Matt
